Joint Master study programme providing art therapy academic training conducted by:
  • Lithuanian  University of Health Sciences  and Vilnius Art Academy Kaunas Faculty.  2 years (continuous full-time studies) / 3 years (part-time studies) (120 ECTS). The programme started 1st September, 2013.

State regulation as a Mental health care profession.
On 30 October, 2014 the  “Description of Professional Qualification Requirements for an Arts Therapists” was approved by the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania.
Visual art therapy is conducted in a variety of settings:
  • in private sector
  • in  mental health sector.
  • variety of specialists (e.g.,  psychologists, teachers, etc.) incorporate AT methods in their daily work.
