Founded in 2006.     
  • There used to be a 60 ECTS Art Therapy Master level degree training programme at Umeå University.
Applicants for Art therapy training needed to have a Bachelor's degree in health and medical care, social work or special education, a minimum of at least one year full-time studies (or its equivalent) at a school of art, experience of personal art therapy or psychotherapy (minimum 30 hours). Now only a short introductory course, one-term part time studies is offered.
